We are looking for a skilled Forklift Operator to join our busy distribution center in Colorado Springs, Colorado. This role is essential for the efficient movement of goods within our facility, ensuring timely and accurate order fulfillment. As a Forklift Operator, you will be responsible for safely operating forklifts and other material handling equipment to transport, stack, load, and unload materials. You will also assist with inventory management, order picking, and maintaining a safe and organized warehouse. A strong commitment to Safety and adherence to all operational procedures is paramount. This position requires excellent attention to detail, good physical stamina, and a proven track record of safe operation. We offer a competitive salary and benefits package. Responsibilities:
- Operate forklifts and other powered industrial trucks to move materials within the warehouse.
- Load and unload raw materials and finished goods from trucks and trailers.
- Transport materials to and from designated areas.
- Accurately pick and stage orders for shipment.
- Perform routine inspections and maintenance of forklifts to ensure they are in safe working order.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace.
- Adhere strictly to all company Safety policies and procedures, including the proper use of PPE.
- Assist with inventory counts and reconciliation.
- Participate in general warehouse duties as needed, contributing to the overall flow of logistics operations.
- Ensure efficient and safe operation to support timely deliveries.
Qualifications:
- Valid forklift operator certification.
- Proven experience operating various types of forklifts.
- Demonstrated knowledge of warehouse operations and logistics.
- Ability to perform tasks requiring manual dexterity and regular Lifting of materials up to 50 lbs.
- Strong commitment to workplace Safety.
- Excellent hand-eye coordination and spatial awareness.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Must wear appropriate PPE when required.
