Responsibilities:
- Receive, inspect, and verify incoming shipments against purchase orders or invoices.
- Accurately pick customer orders from warehouse locations using pick lists or scanners.
- Pack orders securely and efficiently, ensuring product protection during transit.
- Stage outgoing shipments for carriers and assist with loading processes.
- Maintain inventory accuracy through diligent stocking and cycle counting.
- Operate material handling equipment, such as forklifts and pallet jacks, safely and efficiently.
- Keep the work area clean, organized, and free of hazards, following all safety guidelines.
- Wear and maintain all required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
- Adhere to all company policies and procedures related to warehouse operations and logistics.
- Collaborate with colleagues to meet production targets and ensure smooth workflow.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in a warehouse or distribution center setting is preferred.
- Ability to read and understand product labels, order forms, and shipping documents.
- Proficiency with RF scanners and basic computer systems.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
- Physical ability to stand, walk, lift, and move throughout the shift.
- Must be capable of lifting up to 50 pounds regularly.
- Understanding of warehouse safety procedures and practices.
- Reliable and punctual attendance is critical.
- Familiarity with general logistics concepts is a plus.
