We are looking for a diligent Receiving Clerk to manage inbound logistics at our Houston, Texas facility. In this role, you will be responsible for accepting, inspecting, and processing all incoming shipments. This includes verifying deliveries against purchase orders, documenting received goods, and organizing them for put-away. Accuracy and attention to detail are critical to ensure our inventory is correctly accounted for. You will play a vital part in our supply chain, ensuring that we have the right products on hand to meet demand. We are committed to a safe and productive work environment and expect all employees to follow safety guidelines, including the correct use of PPE. While much of the role involves documentation and organization, some lifting of boxes and materials will be required. Responsibilities:
- Receive and unload incoming freight.
- Inspect deliveries for damage or discrepancies.
- Verify quantities and items against purchase orders or shipping manifests.
- Accurately record received goods in the inventory system.
- Tag and label received items as needed.
- Stage received goods for distribution within the warehouse.
- Maintain a clean and organized receiving area.
- Adhere to all safety protocols, including the use of PPE, to ensure safe logistics operations.
