Are you a detail-oriented individual looking for a Shipping Clerk position in Madison, Wisconsin? Our busy warehouse is seeking a motivated professional to manage the outbound flow of our products. The Shipping Clerk will be responsible for ensuring all shipments are processed accurately and efficiently, meeting both internal and external customer expectations. Key duties include verifying order details, selecting appropriate packaging, preparing shipping labels, and coordinating with carriers for timely pickups. You will also maintain accurate shipping records and resolve any shipping discrepancies. A strong understanding of shipping procedures and a commitment to maintaining a safe work environment are essential. We require adherence to all Safety guidelines and the use of provided PPE . Occasional Lifting of packages up to 40 lbs is expected. This role offers a great chance to be part of a growing Logistics operation. Responsibilities:
- Accurately process all outgoing shipments.
- Verify shipment details against customer orders.
- Select appropriate packaging materials for secure transit.
- Generate and affix shipping labels.
- Schedule and coordinate with freight carriers.
- Maintain organized and accurate shipping logs.
- Address and resolve shipping-related issues promptly.
- Follow all Safety procedures and wear necessary PPE .
- Contribute to efficient warehouse Logistics .
- Perform tasks involving moderate Lifting .
