Join our team as a Material Handler in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, and play a vital role in our warehouse operations. This position is fundamental to the smooth flow of materials within our facility, ensuring efficient receiving, stocking, and movement of inventory. You will be responsible for operating forklifts and other material handling equipment safely and efficiently to transport goods. This includes unloading incoming shipments, verifying contents against purchase orders, and stocking materials in designated warehouse locations. The Material Handler will also pick and stage orders for outgoing shipments, ensuring accuracy and completeness. A strong commitment to Safety is a must, along with the ability to work independently and as part of a team. This role requires physical stamina and the ability to handle frequent Lifting of items weighing up to 60 lbs. We provide all necessary PPE and comprehensive training on equipment operation and warehouse procedures. Understanding basic Logistics principles is beneficial. Responsibilities:
- Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment safely.
- Load and unload incoming and outgoing shipments.
- Verify the accuracy of received goods against purchase orders.
- Stock materials in appropriate warehouse locations.
- Pick and stage materials for order fulfillment.
- Conduct regular equipment inspections and report any issues.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
- Adhere strictly to all company Safety regulations and wear required PPE .
- Assist in maintaining inventory accuracy through proper handling and documentation.
- Support the overall Logistics flow of the warehouse.
- Regularly engage in moderate to heavy Lifting .
