We are seeking a versatile and hardworking Material Handler to join our San Diego, California facility. As a Material Handler, you will be instrumental in the efficient movement and organization of goods within our warehouse. Your responsibilities will span a variety of tasks, including receiving, stocking, picking, and staging materials. This role is crucial for maintaining the flow of inventory and supporting our overall logistics operations. A dedication to Safety , accuracy, and efficiency is essential. You will work closely with forklift operators, pickers, and packers to ensure seamless operations and timely order fulfillment. Your efforts directly contribute to our company's ability to serve our customers effectively.
Responsibilities:
- Receive, unload, and inspect incoming materials and shipments.
- Sort and organize materials for efficient storage and retrieval.
- Transport materials within the warehouse using pallet jacks, dollies, or other equipment.
- Assist with picking and staging orders for shipment.
- Replenish stock in pick locations as needed.
- Conduct cycle counts and assist with inventory audits.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment, adhering to all Safety regulations.
- Proper use of required PPE is mandatory for all tasks.
- Must be able to perform tasks involving Lifting and moving items weighing up to 50 lbs.
- Support the overall Logistics operations and contribute to team goals.
- Operate equipment such as pallet jacks and potentially forklifts (if certified).
The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of warehouse procedures, excellent physical stamina, and a commitment to teamwork. Experience as a Material Handler or in a similar warehouse role is preferred. This is an excellent opportunity to advance your career in the logistics industry.
