Responsibilities:
- Receive, unload, and verify incoming shipments against purchase orders.
- Accurately store merchandise in appropriate warehouse locations.
- Pick and pack orders according to customer specifications.
- Prepare orders for shipment, ensuring proper labeling and packaging.
- Operate warehouse equipment, including pallet jacks and forklifts (certification may be required).
- Conduct cycle counts and participate in inventory management activities.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
- Adhere to all safety guidelines and protocols, including the use of PPE.
- Assist with loading outbound trucks.
- Contribute to overall team productivity and efficiency in logistics.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a warehouse or distribution environment is a strong asset.
- Ability to perform tasks requiring physical exertion, including lifting up to 50 lbs on a regular basis.
- Experience operating forklifts and other material handling equipment is beneficial.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Must be reliable, punctual, and able to work independently or as part of a team.
- Willingness to adhere to all safety procedures and wear required PPE.
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
