Our Milwaukee, Wisconsin facility is looking for enthusiastic Picker/Packers to join our dedicated logistics team! As a Picker/Packer, you will be at the heart of our order fulfillment process, responsible for accurately and efficiently gathering items and preparing them for shipment. This role requires precision, speed, and a strong understanding of warehouse operations. You will be working with a variety of products, ensuring they are picked correctly, packaged securely, and ready for delivery. We are committed to providing a safe working environment, which includes mandatory training on proper procedures and the provision of all necessary personal protective equipment (PPE). Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick products from warehouse inventory based on order details.
- Verify the accuracy of picked items against customer orders.
- Package products securely and efficiently, selecting appropriate materials.
- Label packages correctly for shipment.
- Operate scanning equipment to track inventory and orders.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area according to warehouse standards.
- Assist with inventory counts and stock put-away as needed.
- Follow all safety regulations and wear required PPE.
- Meet established productivity and quality goals.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience as a picker/packer or in a warehouse environment is preferred.
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
- Must be able to handle lifting up to 35 lbs repeatedly.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in order fulfillment.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
- Familiarity with warehouse management systems is a plus.
- Must adhere to safety protocols and wear provided PPE, including safety glasses and gloves.
