Responsibilities:
- Receive incoming shipments, verify contents against purchase orders, and inspect for damage.
- Sort, organize, and store inventory in designated warehouse locations.
- Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment safely and efficiently.
- Pick and pack orders accurately for outgoing shipments.
- Load and unload trucks as required.
- Maintain inventory accuracy through proper documentation and system updates.
- Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures, including the use of PPE.
- Conduct regular inspections of warehouse equipment to ensure safe operation.
- Participate in regular team meetings focused on improving logistics efficiency and safety.
- Be prepared for lifting tasks involving items up to 60 lbs.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED.
- Proven experience as a warehouse worker or in a similar role.
- Forklift certification is a plus.
- Ability to read and understand shipping documents and inventory logs.
- Physical ability to perform demanding tasks, including frequent lifting and bending.
- Knowledge of warehouse safety best practices.
- Commitment to wearing appropriate PPE.
