We are looking for an diligent Order Picker to join our warehouse team in Minneapolis, Minnesota. In this critical role, you will be responsible for accurately retrieving items from inventory to fulfill customer orders. Your speed, accuracy, and attention to detail are paramount to ensuring our customers receive exactly what they ordered. You will work within a bustling logistics environment, contributing to the efficient flow of goods and supporting overall warehouse operations. The ideal candidate is reliable, physically capable, and committed to maintaining a safe working environment. This position requires focus and the ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team, upholding our commitment to excellence in logistics.
Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick items from designated warehouse locations using order lists or scanners.
- Verify the accuracy of picked items against order requirements.
- Transport picked items to packing or staging areas.
- Operate pallet jacks and other material handling equipment as needed.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to all safety procedures.
- Assist with inventory cycle counts and stock put-away.
- Perform lifting of items up to 45 lbs on a regular basis.
- Wear appropriate PPE, including safety vests and gloves, as required by company policy.
- Report any discrepancies or issues with inventory or orders to the supervisor promptly.
- Collaborate with colleagues to ensure timely and accurate order fulfillment within our logistics system.
Qualifications:
Previous experience in a warehouse or order picking role is advantageous. Ability to read and interpret picking lists accurately. Strong attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy. Must be able to perform frequent lifting up to 45 lbs. Familiarity with warehouse safety best practices and the importance of PPE. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced setting.
