We are seeking a detail-oriented Inventory Clerk to join our team in Tampa, Florida. In this critical role, you will be responsible for maintaining the accuracy and integrity of our inventory records, ensuring that our warehouse operations run smoothly and efficiently. Your primary focus will be on managing stock levels, conducting regular cycle counts, and investigating discrepancies. This position requires a high degree of accuracy, organizational skills, and a solid understanding of inventory control procedures. You will work closely with warehouse associates, supervisors, and management to ensure that inventory data is up-to-date and reliable. Key responsibilities include tracking inventory movement, verifying incoming and outgoing shipments against records, and participating in full physical inventories. A strong grasp of logistics principles is beneficial, as accurate inventory is the backbone of any successful supply chain. The ideal candidate is proficient with inventory management software and possesses excellent analytical skills. This role requires the ability to perform tasks that involve lifting up to 25 lbs occasionally and standing for extended periods. We are committed to maintaining a safe working environment, and adherence to all safety regulations, including the proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), is mandatory. Responsibilities:
- Maintain accurate inventory records in the system.
- Conduct regular cycle counts and physical inventories.
- Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies.
- Track the movement of goods in and out of the warehouse.
- Verify shipment contents against purchase orders and sales orders.
- Generate inventory reports for management.
- Identify damaged or obsolete stock and follow proper procedures for disposal or return.
- Assist with receiving and shipping processes as needed.
- Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and use of PPE.
- Support overall warehouse logistics and inventory control efforts.
