Join our bustling warehouse in Phoenix, Arizona, as a Material Handler. This vital role ensures the smooth and efficient movement of goods throughout our facility. You will be responsible for a range of tasks, including receiving, stocking, picking, and preparing materials for shipment. The ideal candidate is physically fit, detail-oriented, and committed to maintaining a safe and organized work environment. Proficiency with material handling equipment, such as forklifts and pallet jacks, is highly desirable. Responsibilities:
- Unload incoming shipments and verify contents against purchase orders.
- Transport materials to designated storage areas using appropriate equipment.
- Pick and stage orders accurately for outgoing shipments.
- Load trucks for outgoing deliveries, ensuring proper weight distribution and securement.
- Maintain a clean and orderly workspace, adhering to all Safety regulations.
- Conduct regular inventory checks and report any discrepancies.
- Operate material handling equipment safely and efficiently.
- Ensure compliance with all company policies, including proper use of PPE.
- Assist in maintaining the overall efficiency of the warehouse logistics.
- Perform tasks involving regular Lifting and moving of products.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a warehouse or material handling role preferred.
- Ability to operate forklifts and other material handling equipment is a significant advantage.
- Strong physical stamina and ability to handle frequent Lifting.
- Understanding of warehouse Safety protocols and the correct use of PPE.
- Basic math and reading skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Reliability and punctuality are essential.
- Familiarity with general logistics operations.
- Commitment to workplace Safety.
