Our Sacramento, California location is looking for a dedicated Picker/Packer to join our fulfillment team. In this role, you will be responsible for accurately picking items from inventory and preparing them for shipment. Efficiency, attention to detail, and a strong commitment to Safety are key requirements. This position is vital to our logistics process, ensuring that customer orders are fulfilled correctly and on time. You'll be working in a dynamic environment where accuracy matters.
Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick products from warehouse shelves based on customer orders.
- Verify picked items against order details to ensure accuracy.
- Pack orders securely and efficiently using appropriate materials.
- Label packages correctly for shipment.
- Operate equipment such as pallet jacks and hand trucks as needed.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to all Safety guidelines.
- Proper use and care of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) is mandatory.
- Assist with inventory cycle counts and stock organization.
- Contribute to meeting daily order fulfillment targets within our logistics operations.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience as a Picker/Packer or in a similar warehouse role is preferred.
- Ability to perform physical tasks, including consistent Lifting of up to 40 lbs.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in order fulfillment.
- Understanding of warehouse Safety practices and procedures.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
- Familiarity with RF scanning equipment is a plus.
- Commitment to maintaining a Safe work area.
