Join our team in Dallas, Texas as a Material Handler! This position is critical to the smooth operation of our warehouse and logistics processes. As a Material Handler, you will be responsible for moving, locating, relocating, stacking, and transferring materials within the warehouse. You will operate equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks to transport goods safely and efficiently. Accurate inventory management is key, so you'll also assist with stock rotation and location tracking. We are committed to maintaining a safe work environment, and all employees are required to wear appropriate PPE and follow all safety protocols, especially regarding lifting and equipment operation. This role requires physical dexterity, strength, and a good understanding of warehouse safety. Experience operating material handling equipment is highly preferred. Your attention to detail and commitment to efficiency will be instrumental in optimizing our supply chain. We are looking for dedicated individuals who can contribute to our fast-paced logistics operations.
Responsibilities:
- Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment safely.
- Load and unload materials from trucks and other vehicles.
- Transport materials to and from designated areas within the warehouse.
- Stack and store materials in appropriate locations.
- Assist with inventory counts and record keeping.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
- Follow all safety procedures and wear required PPE.
- Perform pre-operational checks on equipment.
- Report any equipment malfunctions or safety hazards immediately.
- Assist with order picking and fulfillment as needed.
- Understand and execute the logistics of material movement.
- Practice safe lifting techniques for all materials.
- Contribute to team efficiency and productivity.
- Ensure materials are handled with care to prevent damage.
