As an Order Picker, your primary responsibility will be to locate, retrieve, and stage items for shipment. This role requires a sharp eye for detail, speed, and accuracy to ensure our customers receive the correct products in a timely manner. You will be expected to navigate the warehouse, use handheld scanning devices, and manage inventory accurately. Safety is our top priority, and all team members must adhere to strict safety protocols, including the proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE ). This position involves considerable physical exertion, including frequent Lifting of products up to 40 lbs, standing for extended periods, and walking throughout the facility. Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick items for customer orders using pick lists or scanning devices.
- Stage picked items for packing and shipping.
- Verify product information to ensure order accuracy.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Report any inventory discrepancies or damages.
- Adhere to all Safety procedures and guidelines.
- Wear all required PPE consistently.
- Assist with Lifting and moving of inventory as necessary.
- Support overall warehouse and Logistics operations.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience as an Order Picker or in a warehouse setting is preferred.
- Ability to read and interpret pick lists.
- Proficiency with handheld scanners.
- Physical capability to stand, walk, and perform Lifting duties (up to 40 lbs) throughout the shift.
- Commitment to following all Safety regulations.
- Willingness to wear all required PPE .
- Basic knowledge of Logistics principles is a plus.
