We are seeking a motivated and organized Warehouse Coordinator to join our dynamic logistics team in Seattle, Washington. The Warehouse Coordinator will play a crucial role in overseeing daily warehouse operations, ensuring efficiency, accuracy, and the smooth flow of goods. This position requires a proactive individual with strong organizational skills and a keen eye for detail. You will be responsible for managing inventory levels, coordinating shipments, supervising warehouse staff, and ensuring adherence to all safety protocols. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in warehouse management and a strong understanding of logistics principles. Responsibilities include scheduling and directing staff, optimizing warehouse layout, managing incoming and outgoing inventory, and maintaining accurate records. You'll collaborate with various departments to ensure timely fulfillment of orders and contribute to the overall success of our distribution network. This role is integral to our operations, requiring dedication and a commitment to excellence. We value teamwork and encourage a collaborative work environment. Responsibilities:
- Oversee day-to-day warehouse operations.
- Manage inventory control and stock rotation.
- Coordinate inbound and outbound shipments.
- Supervise and train warehouse associates.
- Ensure compliance with all Safety regulations and company policies.
- Maintain a clean and organized warehouse environment.
- Implement and improve warehouse processes for efficiency.
- Operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment safely.
- Assist with Lifting and moving of goods as needed.
- Ensure proper use of PPE .
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Proven experience in warehouse coordination or a similar role.
- Strong understanding of Logistics and supply chain management.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS).
- Knowledge of Safety procedures and best practices.
- Physical ability to perform tasks including Lifting and standing for extended periods.
- Willingness to wear appropriate PPE .
