We are seeking reliable Warehouse Associates to join our growing facility in Columbus, Ohio. As a Warehouse Associate, you will play a key role in our daily operations, performing a variety of tasks essential to our logistics success. Your responsibilities may include receiving and storing goods, picking and packing orders, loading and unloading shipments, and maintaining a clean and organized workspace. This is an active role that requires attention to detail, efficiency, and a commitment to teamwork. We prioritize a safe working environment and provide thorough training on all procedures, including safe Lifting techniques and the mandatory use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE). Responsibilities:
- Receive, unload, and inspect incoming inventory.
- Sort, label, and store products in designated warehouse locations.
- Accurately pick items for customer orders using pick lists or scanners.
- Pack orders carefully and efficiently for shipment.
- Load outbound shipments onto trucks and ensure proper securing.
- Operate material handling equipment such as pallet jacks and hand trucks.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization throughout the warehouse facility.
- Adhere to all company Safety policies and procedures, ensuring a secure work environment.
- Properly use and maintain all required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
- Participate in inventory counts and stock checks to maintain accuracy.
- Follow established guidelines for safe Lifting and material handling to prevent injuries.
- Contribute positively to team efforts and the overall logistics flow.
Qualifications:
Previous warehouse experience is a plus, but we are willing to train motivated individuals. Ability to perform moderate to heavy Lifting and to stand/walk for extended periods. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, both independently and as part of a team. Basic understanding of warehouse operations and logistics is beneficial. Must have a strong commitment to Safety and be willing to wear all required PPE.
