We are seeking a reliable and organized Shipping Clerk to manage outgoing shipments from our Milwaukee, Wisconsin facility. As a Shipping Clerk, you will be responsible for preparing orders for shipment, verifying contents against shipping documents, and ensuring all packages are correctly labeled and ready for carrier pickup. Your attention to detail is crucial to ensure accurate and timely deliveries to our customers. You will play a key role in the outbound Logistics process, coordinating with carriers and internal teams to optimize shipping schedules. This position involves working in a dynamic warehouse setting and requires a commitment to Safety, including the proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE). Occasional Lifting of boxes up to 40 lbs may be necessary. You will be responsible for maintaining a clean and organized shipping area, and for adhering to all company policies and procedures. Responsibilities include:
- Processing and preparing outgoing shipments.
- Verifying order accuracy against shipping manifests.
- Labeling packages correctly for domestic and international shipments.
- Coordinating with shipping carriers to schedule pickups and track shipments.
- Maintaining accurate shipping records and documentation.
- Ensuring the shipping area is clean, organized, and safe.
- Following all company Safety guidelines and using appropriate PPE.
- Communicating with internal departments regarding shipment status.
- Assisting with receiving duties as needed.
- Understanding and respecting Lifting limits.
- Contributing to efficient Logistics operations.
- Performing other warehouse duties as assigned.
