We are seeking a dedicated Order Picker to join our St. Louis, Missouri warehouse team. This position is critical for ensuring the accuracy and speed of our order fulfillment process, a cornerstone of our logistics operations. As an Order Picker, you will be responsible for accurately locating and retrieving items from inventory based on customer orders, preparing them for packing and shipment. A strong focus on safety is paramount, and all employees are required to use appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and follow established safety procedures diligently. The role requires significant physical exertion, including frequent Lifting of boxes and products, often requiring the ability to lift up to 40 lbs. You must be able to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment and maintain a high level of accuracy. - Accurately pick items according to order lists.
- Verify product codes and quantities during the picking process.
- Ensure picked items are handled carefully to prevent damage.
- Transport picked items to the packing station.
- Assist with put-away of received inventory.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Adhere to all safety regulations, including the proper use of PPE.
- Operate pallet jacks and other warehouse equipment safely.
- Participate in inventory checks as needed.
- Collaborate with team members to achieve daily picking goals.
