We are seeking a dedicated and organized Receiving Clerk to join our dynamic logistics team in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. As a Receiving Clerk, you will be the first point of contact for incoming goods, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in all receiving operations. This role is crucial to maintaining the integrity of our supply chain and requires meticulous attention to detail. You will be responsible for unloading trucks, verifying incoming shipments against purchase orders, inspecting goods for damage, and accurately documenting all received items into our inventory system.
Responsibilities:
- Unload and process incoming shipments from various carriers.
- Verify the accuracy of received goods against packing slips and purchase orders.
- Inspect all incoming merchandise for damage or discrepancies.
- Accurately record received items into the warehouse management system (WMS).
- Tag and stage incoming inventory for put-away.
- Maintain a clean and organized receiving area, adhering to all safety protocols.
- Communicate any discrepancies or issues with supervisors and relevant departments.
- Operate forklifts and pallet jacks as needed, following all safety guidelines.
- Adhere to all company policies and procedures, including those related to PPE and safe material handling.
- Assist with inventory counts and other warehouse duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
The ideal candidate will have prior experience in a warehouse or receiving environment. Strong organizational skills, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to perform physical tasks, including frequent lifting (up to 50 lbs), are essential. Familiarity with WMS is a plus. A commitment to workplace safety and proper use of PPE is mandatory. This is a full-time position with opportunities for growth within our logistics operations.
