ATC West Healthcare Services is working with a hospital in Idaho is seeking an experienced Interventional Cardiologist to provide inpatient call coverage beginning in November 2025 . This is a great opportunity to join a Level II Trauma Center with strong APP support and steady procedural volume. The schedule includes 24-hour call-only shifts with no clinic responsibilities and a focus on delivering high-quality cardiac care to patients in an acute hospital setting. Dates / Schedule
  • Coverage Type: Call coverage only (no clinic)
  • Shift: 24-hour call
  • Current Coverage Needs:
    • Nov 4 (7a) Nov 10 (7a)
    • Nov 27 (7a) Dec 2 (7a)
    • Dec 2 (7a) Dec 8 (7a)
    • Dec 24 (7a) Jan 5 (7a)
    • Jan 22 (7a) Jan 27 (7a)
    • Feb 18 (7a) Feb 24 (7a)
    • Mar 19 (7a) Mar 24 (7a)
      • Setting: Inpatient only
      • Trauma Level: II
      • Average Volume: 3 consults/day and 2 procedures/day
      • Bed Counts: 18 ICU beds, 18 telemetry beds, 10 CMU beds
      • APP Support:

        • Weekdays 1 2 APPs on staff during the day

        • Weekends 1 APP for 5 hours/day

      • Procedures Required: Interventional cardiology procedures, including balloon pumps, coronary stents, IVUs, and IFR
      • Highly Preferred: TEE experience
      • STEMI Volume: 3 activations per week (average based on 2020 data) Apr 16 (7a) Apr 21 (7a) Job Details & Responsibilities

        • Setting: Inpatient only

        • Trauma Level: II

        • Average Volume: 3 consults/day and 2 procedures/day

        • Bed Counts: 18 ICU beds, 18 telemetry beds, 10 CMU beds

        • APP Support:

          • Weekdays 1 2 APPs on staff during the day

          • Weekends 1 APP for 5 hours/day

        • Procedures Required: Interventional cardiology procedures, including balloon pumps, coronary stents, IVUs, and IFR

        • Highly Preferred: TEE experience

        • STEMI Volume: 3 activations per week (average based on 2020 data)
