A GSA Assistant Program Manager is responsible for coordinating, reviewing, revising, negotiating, drafting and maintaining contractual agreements used in the procurement, marketing and resale of technology-related goods and services, including hardware, software and services. The GSA Assistant Program Manager will ensure that agreements comply with company policies, procedures and compliance obligations. The GSA Assistant Program Manager is also responsible for managing incoming contract-related inquiries from teammates and administrative functions related to contract execution. For this and other new Federal Contracts.


The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.


Essential Functions of the Job:


  • Manage contract process on NEW contracts from end-to-end.
  • Ensure contract terms and conditions are negotiated in the best interest to mitigate business risk, minimize workload requirements and maximize financial objectives
  • Facilitate efficient communications; coordinate and lead meetings to promptly resolve outstanding contractual issues, inquiries and actions
  • Generate, review and maintain accurate contract documentation in accordance with company policies
  • Exercise good judgment in providing contract interpretations, contractual advice and guidance to internal business team to ensure compliance with contractual requirements
  • Ensure timely review of contract modifications and communication of changes and notices to the business team
  • Ensure that all required approvals are obtained prior to submittal of contracts for execution


MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

Minimum 2 years’ experience in negotiating, drafting and managing IT contracts; experience in marketing, purchasing or product merchandising in the reseller channel; or combination of education and experience.

  • Able to work under pressure and prioritize between competing demands
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills
  • Excellent organizational skills, strong attention to detail and ability to effectively manage multiple contractual activities with a short turn-around time
  • Able to complete assigned tasks accurately and on time with minimal supervision
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • Must demonstrate sound knowledge of business and legal terms in IT contracts (hardware and software, enterprise licensing, services, distribution and other supply chain matters), as well as proficiency in drafting and reviewing contractual arrangements
  • Able to work extended hours, especially at end of month/quarter
  • Excellent verbal and written skills, ability to analyze and present relevant information and solutions to all levels of organization
  • Experience in managing multiple tasks of varying difficulty and complexity
  • Able to work independently as well as part of a team
  • Excellent working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, in particular Word, Excel and Outlook
  • Familiarity with administration of electronic signature programs, such as Adobe Sign or DocuSign
