Director of Program Management

Job Description

Director of Program Management with expertise in commercial pulse power, power electronics, control systems, or high-temperature applications. Candidates should have a background in high-voltage systems, mechanical or electromechanical assembly, or high-temperature packaging, along with experience in 3D CAD design and prototyping.

Responsibilities Include:

• Collaborating with internal and external stakeholders to ensure project plan deliverables are met relative to documentation, scope, schedule, and cost.
• Drive cross-functional planning and resourcing of project requirements.
• Keen understanding of project software tools and ensuring alignment across the project team.
• Ability to manage and motivate a team of project managers, schedulers, and Planners to achieve alignment and collaboration within both the project and task teams.
• Provide a clear and concise communication platform across all internal and external stakeholders.
• Develop and support relationship building with both external partners and internal executive management
• Provide regular status updates across all projects, including milestone tracking and risk management planning, along with the ability to drive high-level execution within complex projects across multiple assets.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in electromechanical design or a related field (other degrees or relevant experience considered).
• 5–10+ years of experience managing high-value complex projects.
• Experience in research and development of fully custom or unique products.

Desired Qualifications:

• Ability to manage organizational development and change.
• Ability to plan across multiple assets and integrate team milestones.
• Experience in managing design changes, conflict, risk, and mitigation planning.
• Experience in the Mining and Geothermal markets
• Ability to develop and present business case analysis to executive management for review and consideration.
