We are seeking an Associate Network Engineer to assist in the design, implementation, maintenance and documentation of our communications network infrastructure. This role will report to the Senior Network Engineer and/or CTO. The ideal candidate will be able to deploy, configure, maintain and monitor all active network equipment in order to ensure smooth network operation as well as providing technical support related to assigned systems within their organization. Assists with day to day networking tasks to ensure network reliability, availability and serviceability with minimal interruption and producing documentation for installation, network topology, and troubleshooting of communications hardware or software.
*KEY RESPONSIBILITIES*
● Assist in the design and implementation of network infrastructure solutions to meet business requirements
● Configure and maintain network devices such as routers, switches, firewalls, and load balancers
● Monitor network performance and identify and resolve network issues
● Collaborate with other IT teams to ensure seamless integration of network infrastructure with other systems
● Implement and maintain network security protocols to protect against unauthorized access
● Assist in managing network upgrades and migrations
● Provide technical support to end-users regarding network connectivity and performance issues
● Create and maintain network documentation such as network diagrams, procedures, and configurations
*QUALIFICATIONS*
● Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field preferred
● Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in network engineering or related field
● Strong knowledge of network protocols such as TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, SNMP, and SMTP
● Familiarity with network devices and technologies such as VLAN’s
● Knowledge of network security protocols such as SSL, IPSec, and Firewalls
● Ability to troubleshoot and diagnose network issues
● Excellent communication and interpersonal skills and attention to detail
● Ability to work independently and as part of a team
● Willingness to learn and expand on technical knowledge
● Must be able to legally live and work in the country the candidate is applying, without visa support or sponsorship (student visas or visas obtained on your own are not applicable for the program)
Pay: $63,128.36 - $76,025.55 per year
