Job Summary: As a Beaker / Laboratory Information Systems Application Analyst I at Endeavor Health, you will be responsible for supporting an assigned application portfolio, including designing, documenting, implementing, and testing software or application solutions. A key focus is the efficient monitoring and management of issue resolution through timely ticket closure. You will also participate in implementation of new workflows and products in alignment with the organization's strategic goals. To be successful in this role, you will be expected to learn the latest solutions and technologies and advocate for the adoption of industry best practices. This position is specifically in support of the microbiology lab at Endeavor Health. What you will do: Assist in designing, documenting, configuring, implementing and testing software/application solutions
Works to resolve routine system incidents and requests in a timely manner for assigned tickets, escalating to senior members for support when needed. Participates in vendor calls on issues/upgrades
Participates in function and unit testing of software/application solutions and contributes to the continuous improvement of processes.
Prepare documentation, tip sheets and reports related to projects following established procedures
Participate in integrated workgroups/projects.
Stay up to date on the latest trends and innovations in relevant technologies.

What you will need: Education: Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, health informatics or a related field * Experience: One (1) or more years of experience relevant to assigned portfolio in a healthcare setting or related industries. * Unique or Preferred Skills: * Background in microbiology (certified medical laboratory scientist/technician/technologist) preferred * Experience utilizing/supporting microbiology instrumentation * Beaker Clinical Pathology certification preferred * Able to communicate clearly and effectively to a variety of customers. * Possess good verbal, written and customer service skills. * Must have the ability to work independently or in a team setting. * Uses logic and critical thinking to problem solve. * Understanding of analytical and troubleshooting skills. * Ability to quickly learn new technology and build upon knowledge to advance to more complex concepts. * Embraces a culture of continuous improvement * Good Microsoft Office skills Benefits (For full time or part time positions): Incentive pay for select positions
