Responsibilities include coordination of EMR activities and resources that impact multiple departments, systems, and workflows. This role will analyze the needs of the practice positions and develop and implement materials and processes that serve the needs of individual providers as well as the entire practice. It is also critical that this position maintains a high-level proficiency with EMR Technology.
Duties and Responsibilities

Work closely with Director of Process Engineering on EMR technology-based projects. Apply project management techniques to ensure project scope is appropriate, resources are identified and applied, and timelines are developed and met. Streamline the technological aspects of the EMR system to meet the clinical needs of the business and meaningful use compliance requirements. Apply business analytics in order to identify processes that can be enhanced through automation and technology. Participate in the onboarding process of new team members and deliver Medent training per job specifications, specifically including new providers. Work collaboratively with departmental directors, managers, team leads, and staff to implement quality improvements. Communicate, train, and educate staff on uses and applications and changes with all organizational applications. Perform other duties as needed. Requirements and Qualifications
Associate Degree in health- or technology-related field preferred or 3+ years working in a medical office setting required. 2+ years experience working as a scribe preferred. Proficient working in an EMR required, preferably Medent. Proficient working in Microsoft Suite including Word, Excel, and Teams required. Local travel to different offices required. Physical Demands
Manual and finger dexterity and eye-hand coordination to enter data and operate office equipment. Corrected vision and hearing within normal range to communicate with patients, providers, and staff. Some days may require frequently remaining in a stationary position, often sitting for prolonged periods working on a computer, telephone, copy/fax machine, and other office equipment. Some days may require frequently standing and walking. Occasional lifting and carrying items weighing up to 10 pounds.
The pay range for this position is determined based on several factors, including the candidate's years of experience, qualifications, training, licenses, designations, and the overall market conditions.
