Western Health Advantage is seeking a dynamic and detail-driven Data & Analytics Analyst to join our Finance team. In this high-impact role, you will transform complex financial and operational data into meaningful insights that guide strategic decision-making across the organization. Reporting to the Data & Analytics Manager, you will collaborate with cross-functional partners to uncover trends, strengthen performance monitoring, and support initiatives that enhance both operational excellence and member experience. You'll play a critical role in supporting strategic initiatives through: Partnering with business teams to understand data needs and translate objectives into actionable insights Collaborating cross-functionally to deliver data-driven solutions aligned with strategic goals Developing and maintaining reports to monitor key financial, clinical, and operational metrics Analyzing data trends and providing insights that inform executive decision-making Supporting financial tracking, including budget variance analysis and forecasting Assisting in the development and implementation of predictive models and machine learning solutions Performing detailed data analysis to uncover trends, correlations, and actionable insights Cleaning, preprocessing, and transforming data to ensure quality and integrity Designing and promoting self-service dashboards and interactive reporting tools Monitoring performance indicators across departments to identify improvement opportunities Utilizing SQL to extract, manipulate, and analyze data while partnering with IT and Compliance on access controls Preparing presentations and reports for both technical and non-technical stakeholders, including executive leadership Creating clear visualizations that guide strategy and business decisions Staying current with advancements in analytics, data science, and machine learning tools Recommending process improvements and optimizing data workflows Maintaining accurate project activity logs and documentation Supporting special projects and other duties as assigned What You'll Bring: We're looking for a motivated professional who combines technical expertise with business acumen: Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Business, or related discipline Minimum 2 years of experience in database reporting, analytics, statistics, or business management Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data sets Proficiency in SQL for data extraction and analysis Experience with financial modeling and data visualization tools Excellent communication and collaboration skills Healthcare or health plan experience preferred Proficient computer skills (email, databases, spreadsheets, word processing, graphics) Ability to speak, read, write, and understand the primary language(s) used in the workplace Why Western Health Advantage?
