About the Opportunity This role involves setting sales appointments, recruiting attendance at group sales meetings, and responding to benefit inquiries. You will also complete online enrollment applications for MVP Medicare prospects. Additionally, you will address prospect questions, including eligibility, benefit interpretation, and cost sharing, via inbound and outbound calls, walk-in contact, and written correspondence/email. What You'll Do You will ensure that each prospect/enrollee understands the product benefits, policies, and procedures by providing clear, complete, and accurate information.
It is essential to qualify each prospect according to departmental and federal guidelines and meet accessibility and quality goals, such as average speed of answer and abandonment rate.
Documenting complete and accurate prospect records and processing all appointments, registrations, and request for information in CRM. Meeting individual and team membership goals is crucial, as is following company and federal sales and marketing guidelines in all interactions with prospects. Skills and Experience Education, Licensures, & Certifications
Associate's degree in Marketing, Sales, Communications or related field, or equivalent combination of education & related experience. Licensure Requirement: NYS LAH Health Insurance license is required within 4 weeks training period prior to selling.
Years of Experience (Required & Preferred)
Successful customer service experience and relevant office experience. Experience in positions where adherence to strict confidentiality is required. Healthcare/Health Insurance experience preferred. Call Center experience preferred.
Required Job Skills
Strong effective written and verbal communication skills. Excellent sales and customer service skills, accountability and follow through. Computer skills using Microsoft applications. Flexibility to travel and attend off site assignments. Demonstrated time management and project planning skills. Must possess good problem-solving capabilities. Must be self-directed, confident and sensitive to the needs of Medicare eligible populations. A high level of personal integrity and the ability to represent the company in a professional and courteous manner at all times. Outlook, Word for Windows desired and basic data entry/typing skills. Customer Relationship Management data system fluency desired. Knowledge of Excel (or comparable program) helpful.
