Base Location: Stonehouse
Hours: 17.5 hours per week (2.5 days per week)
Working Pattern:
- Wednesday: 9am - 12:30pm
- Thursday & Friday: 9am - 5pm
Salary: £37,000 prorated

Your RoleWe are looking for a qualified and experienced Social Worker who is enthusiastic and committed to fostering meaningful relationships with foster parents. Your collaborative approach will be key in promoting effective supervision of placements.
Key Responsibilities- Provide direct support to foster parents, maintaining a realistic caseload for high-level supervision.
- Conduct regular supervision sessions, enabling and monitoring foster parents' practices to ensure compliance with regulatory standards.
- Collaborate with children, young people, foster parents, and other professionals to ensure full participation in safeguarding and child protection processes.
- A Social Care England recognized qualification in Social Work or equivalent.
- Previous experience in children and families social work.
- Strong knowledge of relevant legislation and publications related to children's services.
- Good IT skills and the ability to work flexibly.
- A full driving license and access to your own vehicle.
This is a demanding yet rewarding position that includes quality assurance and training roles for foster parents. You will be an excellent report writer, able to meet strict deadlines.

The successful candidate will need to complete an enhanced DBS Check, which will be covered by Fosterplus.
