Coinbase Onramp simplifies the process of moving money onchain, playing a crucial role in welcoming users to crypto and advancing our mission to establish an open financial system globally. Joining our team means becoming a part of a talented group of engineers dedicated to building the best infrastructure for transferring money both onchain and offchain. Onramp facilitates billions of dollars entering the onchain space, and you will be instrumental in enhancing our product offerings. Our clientele includes some of the most utilized applications in the crypto space, such as Coinbase Wallet, Metamask, Phantom, Block (Bitkey), and Ledger. What we look for in you: A minimum of 5 years of experience in software engineering.
A scrappy, self-starter mindset and a commitment to enhancing customer experience.
Strong full-stack engineering capabilities; you can develop dependable backend services and deliver fast, accessible UIs that manage real-world complexities.
A solid grasp of distributed systems, microservices architecture, and event-driven design; you excel in integrating with both internal and external services.
You produce high-quality, well-tested code tailored to customer needs.
Excellent communication and teamwork skills, enabling effective collaboration with designers and product managers.
A passion for exceptional developer tooling and insights on building outstanding developer platforms.
A strong interest in onchain/Web3 technologies and familiarity with blockchain systems, particularly Ethereum and other EVM-compatible chains.
Desirable qualifications: Experience in a rapidly growing company (transitioning from startup to mid-size).
Background in developing solutions on blockchain technology (like Bitcoin or Ethereum).
Expertise in breaking down a large monolithic architecture into microservices.
Experience in building high-reliability, security-focused financial systems.
Job #: P66239 Compensation Notice:
The target annual base salary for this position varies by location and is between $186,065 and $218,900 USD. Full-time offers from Coinbase also include eligibility for bonuses, equity, and comprehensive benefits (including medical, dental, vision, and 401(k)).
