Rutherford Regional Health System, a Duke Lifepoint Hospital in Rutherfordton, North Carolina (in the Asheville/Spartanburg/Charlotte area) is growing with the addition of an employed, full-time BC/BE General Surgeon to strengthen our established team at Rutherford Surgical Associates. Those who are currently practicing or are currently in training can be considered.
  • Current providers include Cardiology, General Surgery, Orthopedics, Family Medicine, Behavioral Health, OB/GYN, Pediatrics
  • Requirements: bread and butter general surgery, GI, laparoscopic procedures
  • Average 10-20 patients/day
  • Schedule and call
  • Clinic Monday- Friday 8 am-5 pm
  • OR in the morning followed by clinic
  • Clinic EMR- Athena, Hospital EMR- Meditech
  • 2023 Lifepoint Division Hospital of the year
  • 90th percentile patient satisfaction in the ambulatory clinic
  • daVinci Robotics anticipated summer 2026
