Gastroenterology Physician

Baylor St. Luke's Medical Group is growing our Gastroenterology network to provide outstanding care to the patients we serve in the beautiful town of Lufkin. Lufkin is a lively, growing, & energetic community with many amenities.

We are looking for an energetic physician to join a well established practice with the potential to expand further. Baylor St. Luke's Medical Group is a partnership between St. Luke's Health System & Baylor College of Medicine. Job Highlights:

• Potential option to invest and partner in joint venture ambulatory surgery center.
• Provide expert clinical care in advanced gastroenterology, including management of complex gastrointestinal conditions, diagnostic evaluations, and therapeutic interventions.
• Perform advanced endoscopic procedures including ERCP, EUS, and EMR.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to manage patient care, contributing to innovative treatment plans and ongoing clinical trials.
• Participate in education and mentorship of medical residents, fellows, and other healthcare professionals.
• Opportunity to engage in and contribute to the development of research initiatives in gastroenterology.
• Maintain comprehensive and accurate patient records.
• Contribute to the growth and development of the gastroenterology division within Baylor St. Luke's Health.

• MD/DO Degree
• Completed ACGME Residency and Gastroenterology Fellowship
• Active, unrestricted Texas license or the ability to obtain prior to employment
• American Board Certification and BLS (active).
