Salary: £32,000 - £35,000 (depending on experience)
Hours: 40 hours per week
Qualification: Level 3 Childcare Qualification is essential

We are on the lookout for a passionate and enthusiastic Deputy Manager to join our friendly team. If you have a Level 3 Childcare qualification and are ready to work full-time (40 hours per week with flexible shifts between 7:30 am and 6:30 pm, Monday to Friday), we want to hear from you!

Your ResponsibilitiesAs our Deputy Manager, you will:
- Ensure the safety and wellbeing of every child, staff member, parent, and visitor at all times.
- Understand and implement the statutory framework for the EYFS throughout the nursery.
- Assist in managing medication acceptance and administration, ensuring care plans are thorough and up to date.
- Provide stimulating and purposeful experiences tailored to each child's age and development stage.
- Communicate effectively to promote respect and credibility in your role.
- Inspire the staff team with creative ideas and challenges to achieve outstanding practice.
- Maintain accurate records and accounts related to children and staff on the EyMan system.
- Undertake additional duties to ensure the smooth running of the nursery.

What We’re Looking ForTo thrive in this role, you should have:
- Full and relevant Level 3 in Childcare qualification (essential).
- Leadership experience (essential).
- Over 1 year of experience working in Early Years (essential).
- Sound knowledge of the statutory framework for the EYFS and regulatory requirements (essential).
- Over 1 year of experience in a management position (desirable).
- Level 5 qualification in Childcare and/or Management and Leadership (desirable).
- Experience of successfully passing an Ofsted inspection to good or outstanding (desirable).
