Obstetrics Physician

A hospital in Jacksonville is looking for an OB to provide 24-hour call coverage. They currently have numerous dates needing coverage in March. The hours are from 7am to 7am.

Facility details:

• 6 LDRP rooms

• 12 post-partum rooms

• 2 dedicated C-Section surgical suites

• Level I NICU; 24x7 anesthesia coverage

• Average 80 deliveries per month, most times

• CNM here ate surigcal first assist trained

  Qualifications

  • Board Certifications: Obstetrics/Gynecology BC

  • Board-certified or eligible in obstetrics/ gynecology

  • At least one year of experience is preferred

  • Ability to work effectively as part of a collaborative OB/CNM practice with strong communication and interpersonal skills

  • Patient-centered - valuing patient preferences/choice, shared decision making, and a holistic approach to care

  • Active DEA license

  • State Licenses: Florida Required

  • Licensed to practice in FL - However will consider candidates who are part of the compact IMLC

  • Willing to License: Yes
