Minitab is seeking a skilled and motivated DevOps Engineer to play a key role in developing and maintaining our infrastructure and deployment pipelines. This role involves designing and managing CI/CD pipelines, automating infrastructure, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to enhance software delivery processes.
Responsibilities : • Design, implement, and manage CI/CD pipelines to ensure seamless and efficient software delivery. • Automate infrastructure provisioning and configuration management. • Help manage and maintain development and production infrastructure, ensuring environments are stable, scalable, secure, and suitable for continuous testing and delivery. • Participate in an on-call rotation to address urgent infrastructure issues and support system reliability. • Manage requests across systems and environments, including updates to settings, permissions, and components. • Provide timely support for infrastructure-related issues to minimize disruption and improve service quality. • Maintain documentation and procedures for request handling and issue resolution to ensure consistency and operational efficiency. • Communicate progress and status of assigned work in accordance with team and company practices. • Participate in code reviews, seeking and incorporating feedback from teammates, reviewers, and domain experts. • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet shared goals and deliverables on schedule. • Stay current with new technologies, trends, and best practices in the DevOps field. • Actively explore emerging tools and methodologies to drive continuous process improvement. • Apply new knowledge to enhance infrastructure performance, scalability, security, and efficiency.
Qualifications : Required : • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field; or equivalent practical experience. • Understanding of infrastructure as code, CI/CD pipelines, and cloud platforms (e.g., Azure, AWS). • Proficiency with scripting languages and configuration management tools. • Experience with containerization (e.g., Docker) and orchestration technologies (e.g., Kubernetes). • Ability to speak, read, write, and comprehend English.
