Über
5+ years DevOps experience with AWS Cloud services with strong familiarity with automating cloud databases like AWS RDS PostgreSQL and AWS Aurora PostgreSQL. Ability to write scripts (e.g. in Python) to create snapshots of specific databases within an RDS instance and for rehydrating those snapshots in other DB instances. Candidate will create mechanisms and workflows for doing granular backups of specific databases within an RDS/AURORA instance and allow for rehydrating those backups. Candidate should have ability to work in GitOps pipelines and develop automation approaches. Candidate will be willing to propose solutions that leverage AWS serverless solutions as well as help design database solution that optimize availability, cost, performance dimensions.
