We are looking to add an experienced Part-Time Registered Dietitian that is interested in working with the elderly to our Cura Hospitality team in

. As a Registered Dietitian with Cura Hospitality, you will have the opportunity to identify and assess the nutritional needs of assigned patients/residents, initiate interventions to achieve and/or maintain individuals nutritional status, and enhance quality of life consistent with patient’s/resident’s goals. *Provide Nutrition Assessments for admissions, quarterly assessments, annual assessments, tube feedings, weight changes +/-4% in 1 month, wounds, and for significant change assessments (such as a hospice admission or a significant improvement in ADLs) Nutrition education as needed and requested by residents Creation and quarterly updates on care plans for nurses/CNAs/CMAs to reference at meals and snacks to tailor to resident food preferences Completion of MDS (Minimum Data Sheets) for Section K and CAAs Use of the nutrition-focused physical exam to identify residents who meet criteria for malnutrition according to ASPEN Malnutrition Criteria Care conference meetings with families to update them on changes with the resident Collaboration with interdisciplinary team to provide resident-centered care during weekly clinical meetings QAPI Quality Assurance and Performance Improvement Meetings each quarter Monthly Kitchen Inspections and Meal Service Audits Bachelor’s degree in nutrition (Prior to 2024) or related field Passed a national examination administered by the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR) or meets the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics requirements for eligibility. Knowledge of regulation standards specific to comprehensive assessments, care planning, and residents’ rights. Ability to teach others, specifically pertaining to nutrition and dietetics. Master's degree in Nutrition or related field. Experience working in healthcare or long-term care. Part-Time Benefits:

30.00 - $36.00 per hour, depending on experience.
