Supervisory Responsibilities Business Analysts
Schedule:
This is a hybrid role requiring regular on-site work at our Nottingham, MD office
Work hours will depend on the business hours of the time zone serviced.

In This Role, You Will:
Be responsible for leading the design, development, delivery, and maintenance of management information and reporting that support operational decision-making across the Central Operations organization. Serve as both a player and coach, overseeing a team of MIS professionals while directly contributing to report development and visualization work. Own the Central Operations MIS process from intake through production, ensuring that business requirements are translated into accurate, timely, and actionable reporting. Work with the SVP of Operations Strategy & Transformation for day-to-day needs while collaborating closely with IT partners, the Central Operations Managing Director, and Operations business owners who own the content of their reports. Build a best-in-class MIS environment characterized by accurate reporting, efficient development, strong communication, and rapid issue resolution.
Responsibilities and Essential Duties: Lead and develop a team of MIS Analysts and Interns responsible for report creation, visualization, and delivery across Central Operations. Serve as the primary owner of the Central Operations MIS process, including intake, prioritization, coordination, and report development lifecycle management. Collaborate with Operations business owners (e.g., SVP of Recovery, Servicing, Funding, etc.) to understand reporting needs, translate requirements, and ensure business ownership of final reports. Design, develop, and maintain Power BI dashboards, scorecards, and daily production reports (DPRs) that provide visibility into performance metrics across Central Operations teams. Partner closely with IT to ensure seamless integration with enterprise data architecture (Amazon Redshift, SQL Server Operational Data Store, SQL Server Analysis Services, Power BI), understanding the structure and flow of data used in reporting. Gather reporting requirements, perform data discovery, acquire data as needed (through IT or self-service methods), and build tables and visualizations. Manage report development lifecycle including requirements documentation, UAT coordination, deployment to production, and post-production support. Perform ETL and data preparation to independently access and prepare data for timely delivery of business-critical reports. Establish and maintain standards and procedures to ensure report accuracy, timely delivery, and effective communication of production issues. Proactively identify and resolve data and reporting issues, documenting root causes and ensuring consistent communication to stakeholders. Partner with IT and business leadership to improve data quality, availability, and efficiency of reporting processes. Provide leadership, coaching, and professional development for team members to strengthen technical and business knowledge. Present reporting results and insights to Central Operations leadership in clear, actionable formats. Monitor and report on Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) as requested. Be responsible for achievement of planned goals, projects, and deliverables. Execute implementation of short- and long-term goals and plans which support the current and future needs of the business. Responsible for managerial matters such as performance appraisals and goal setting, promotions, salary recommendations, and staffing in accordance with the company hiring process, personnel policies, and budget requirements. May perform additional functions depending on market demand and staffing in order to provide consistent quality service. Required Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in MIS, Business Analytics, Finance, Information Systems, or a related field; additional, applicable years of experience may be substituted for a bachelor's degree. Minimum of five (5) years of experience in Management Information Systems or reporting within an operations or financial services environment. Two (2) years of supervisory/team-lead experience coordinating multiple responsibilities and managing operations activities in a MIS. Hands-on experience building and maintaining Power BI dashboards, reports, and datasets. Strong proficiency with SQL and ability to manipulate and prepare data for reporting; familiarity with Amazon Redshift, SSAS, or Tableau a plus. Experience coordinating across business and IT functions to ensure alignment on data requirements, reporting design, and production delivery. Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities, lead project delivery, and coach technical staff in a fast-paced environment. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; able to collaborate effectively with business stakeholders, IT partners, and executive leadership. Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel and PowerPoint. Strong organizational and problem-solving skills with a focus on quality and accountability. Desire and ability to learn emerging technologies and reporting methodologies. Preferred Qualifications:
Experience in consumer lending or financial services. Experience building or managing an operational data store (ODS) environment. Physical Demands:
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to sit for extended periods; reach with hands and arms; and talk or hear. The employee is occasionally required to move about. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to twenty (20) pounds.
