Job Summary :
CLEAR is on a mission to create frictionless experiences for its 30+ million members. They are seeking a Data Analyst II to join their Analytics team, focusing on the CLEAR+ subscription business, where the role involves evaluating business performance, contributing to analytics projects, and developing subscription strategies.
Responsibilities : • Partner closely with Marketing and Finance to evaluate business performance, size new growth opportunities, and synthesize complex data into actionable narratives for executive leadership. • Contribute to large analytics projects, from opportunity sizing to deep-dive diagnostic analysis to steady-state descriptive reporting. • Serve as a thought partner in subscription strategy development planning by contextualizing analytics within broader company strategy and market trends. • Create or improve key subscription-related datasets to improve data liquidity and enable self-service by business stakeholders. • Frame and evaluate experiments using industry-best methodologies to isolate causal effects and interpret noisy data.
Qualifications : Required : • 2+ years of experience working in analytics, data science, or adjacent roles, preferably in a subscription business. • Deep fluency in SQL and comfort with Python or R for exploratory analysis and modeling. • A working knowledge of statistics and database modeling. • Experience working on customer growth and retention strategy. • Proven experience working with modern data stack technologies, including Snowflake, dbt, Dagster, and Looker. • A strong business sense with the ability to contribute to strategic discussions about what we do next and why doing so will drive the results that matter. • Ability to derive clarity from ambiguity, from framing questions to delivering recommendations. • Comfortability simplifying complex analyses, defending methodology choices, and inspiring action through insights. • Collaborative mindset and emotional intelligence — you’re someone stakeholders seek out for thought partnership, not just dashboards. • Excited to contribute to a team culture centered around curiosity, humility, and impact.
