Research Assistants (all genders) - PhD Programme
(50% of regular working hours

Our Research Assistant positions (50%) are designed for candidates who wish to pursue a doctoral degree while actively contributing to the Department's academic and entrepreneurial activities. The PhD is embedded in ESCP's s tructured doctoral programme and supervised within the Entrepreneurship Department.

• Entrepreneurship Department (Berlin Chairs): Teaching-related activities, course coordination, student support, and administrative tasks related to the Ch airs' academic activities.
• Community (Say Institute / INSPIRE): Supporting internal and external communication and outreach, research dissemination, events, etc. to enhance visibility of ESCP's vibrant entrepreneurship community.
• Blue Factory (ESCP's startup incubator): Supporting incubation and acceleration programmes, working with startups, organizing entrepreneurial events, and developing ESCP's entrepreneurial ecosystem.

• A strong interest in entrepreneurship research
• An entrepreneurial mindset, initiative, and collaborative spirit
• A very good Master's degree in business, social sciences,or a related field
• Excellent English skills (German skills are definitely a plus)

• You will work in a dedicated team on the Berlin campus with strong ties to European colleagues.
• You will be admitted to the Berlin PhD Programme at ESCP Business School (fees will be waived).
• You will become part of a vibrant community of junior entrepreneurship scholars, including more than 10 PhD candidates and two postdoctoral researchers.
• You will experience our unique supervision process (shaped by our professors René Mauer, Matthias Mrożewski and Christoph Seckler) with the goal of bringing out the best in everyone.
• You will be part of a large international research community including our European Research Center (INSPIRE) and ESCP's Innovation and Entrepreneurial Transformation Institute (Say Institute).
• You will engage with scholars, practitioners, and entrepreneurial actors in Berlin and beyond.
