Salary: £27,580 per annum

As a Room Leader, you will play a pivotal role in guiding our team to deliver an enriching curriculum and ethos to our children and their families. Our nursery operates from 7:00 am to 6:15 pm , and we need someone flexible to work varied shifts within these hours.

As a Room Leader, you will:

• Provide stimulating and purposeful experiences tailored to children's age and development.
• Support the holistic development of children—physically, intellectually, socially, and emotionally.
• Assist staff in maintaining high-quality updates on the EyLog system and children's learning journals.
• Lead by example, promoting respect and credibility in your role.
• Implement an effective key person approach to foster secure attachments and identify staff training needs.
• Maintain accurate records on the EyMan system and ensure compliance with all regulations.
• Prioritize the safety and wellbeing of every child, staff member, parent, and visitor.
• Ensure adherence to the statutory framework for the EYFS.

To thrive in this role, you should have:

• Full and relevant Level 3 Childcare qualification - Essential
• Over 1 year of experience in Early Years - Essential
• More than 6 months in a senior position - Desirable
• Knowledge of Ofsted expectations for achieving a Good or Outstanding rating - Desirable
• Understanding of the EYFS statutory framework and regulatory requirements - Essential
• Fluency in written and spoken English - Essential
