Responsibilities:
- Accurately process all outgoing shipments according to established procedures.
- Prepare and verify shipping labels, manifests, and bills of lading.
- Schedule and coordinate with shipping carriers for timely pick-ups.
- Ensure proper packaging and labeling of all items for shipment.
- Maintain an organized and safe shipping area.
- Operate pallet jacks and other equipment safely as needed.
- Track shipments and resolve any delivery issues that may arise.
- Adhere to all company safety regulations and utilize required PPE .
- Assist with inventory control and cycle counts as needed.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Previous experience in shipping, logistics, or a warehouse environment is strongly preferred.
- Proficiency in using shipping software and carrier portals.
- Ability to perform physical tasks, including standing, walking, and moderate lifting up to 40 lbs.
- Strong organizational skills and exceptional attention to detail.
- Understanding of logistics processes and supply chain management.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.
- Commitment to maintaining a safe and efficient work environment.
