We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Picker/Packer to join our dynamic logistics team in San Francisco, California. In this role, you will be instrumental in ensuring our customers receive their orders accurately and efficiently. Your primary responsibilities will include accurately picking items from warehouse shelves based on order tickets, carefully packing items for shipment, and preparing orders for dispatch. This position requires a keen eye for detail, physical stamina, and a commitment to maintaining a safe and organized work environment. You will work closely with the warehouse management team to meet daily operational goals and contribute to the smooth functioning of our distribution center. The ideal candidate will have experience in a warehouse setting, understand the importance of inventory accuracy, and be adept at following instructions. We emphasize the importance of safety protocols and require all employees to adhere to established procedures.
Key Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick products from inventory using handheld scanners or pick lists.
- Inspect items for damage before packing.
- Pack items securely and efficiently using appropriate materials.
- Label packages with shipping information.
- Operate pallet jacks and other warehouse equipment safely.
- Maintain a clean and organized workstation.
- Adhere to all safety regulations and company policies.
- Participate in inventory counts as needed.
- Communicate any discrepancies or issues to supervisors.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in picking and packing or a similar warehouse role is a plus.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly.
- Basic understanding of warehouse operations and logistics.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Must be able to wear required PPE, including safety shoes and vests.
