We are looking for a Distribution Center Associate to join our team in Tampa, Florida. This role is integral to the smooth operation of our warehouse and the timely fulfillment of customer orders. Responsibilities include receiving, sorting, and stocking inventory, as well as picking, packing, and preparing orders for shipment. The ideal candidate is a proactive individual with a strong commitment to Safety and efficiency. You will work in a fast-paced environment, contributing to the overall success of our logistics operations. Teamwork and attention to detail are key attributes for this position. Responsibilities:
- Receive and process incoming inventory accurately.
- Organize and stock merchandise in appropriate warehouse locations.
- Pick and pack orders according to specific requirements and deadlines.
- Prepare shipments for dispatch, including labeling and consolidation.
- Operate material handling equipment such as pallet jacks.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment, adhering to all Safety protocols.
- Ensure proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
- Participate in inventory management activities, including cycle counts.
- Collaborate with team members to achieve daily operational goals.
- Report any operational issues or equipment malfunctions to supervisors.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous warehouse or distribution center experience is advantageous.
- Ability to perform tasks requiring regular Lifting, up to 50 lbs.
- Familiarity with warehouse operations and basic logistics.
- Strong organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail.
- Ability to work effectively in a physically demanding role.
- Commitment to workplace Safety and adherence to guidelines.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Capacity to work independently and as part of a team.
- Reliability and a strong sense of responsibility.
