Job Summary:
Columbus, Ohio, is the home of our exciting opportunity for a Warehouse Technician! We are looking for a skilled individual to maintain and repair warehouse equipment, ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of our logistics center. This role requires a strong mechanical aptitude and a commitment to safety. You will be responsible for performing routine maintenance, troubleshooting equipment issues, and conducting necessary repairs on forklifts, conveyor systems, and other machinery. Ensuring all equipment is functioning safely and reliably is paramount. You will work closely with the warehouse operations team to minimize downtime and maximize productivity. Adherence to all safety regulations and the proper use of PPE are critical in this position. Experience with industrial machinery and a solid understanding of logistics equipment are essential. Responsibilities:
  • Perform routine maintenance on warehouse machinery and equipment.
  • Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical issues.
  • Conduct safety inspections of all equipment.
  • Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and company policies.
  • Maintain accurate records of maintenance and repairs.
  • Operate forklifts and other equipment when necessary.
  • Collaborate with operations staff to address equipment needs.
  • Adhere to strict safety protocols, including the use of PPE.

Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification preferred.
  • Proven experience in maintenance or repair of industrial equipment.
  • Strong mechanical and troubleshooting skills.
  • Knowledge of warehouse equipment and logistics systems.
  • Ability to perform moderate Lifting and physical tasks.
  • Familiarity with safety procedures and PPE requirements.
  • Excellent problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
