We are seeking a highly organized and experienced Inventory Control Specialist to join our team in Dallas, Texas. This position is critical to maintaining the integrity of our warehouse inventory. You will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of inventory management, including tracking stock levels, conducting regular audits, reconciling discrepancies, and implementing strategies to prevent loss and improve accuracy. Your role will involve working with warehouse management systems, analyzing data, and collaborating with other departments to ensure efficient logistics operations. A strong understanding of inventory control principles and best practices is essential. Safety is paramount, and you will be expected to adhere to all company safety policies, including proper lifting techniques and the mandatory use of personal protective equipment (PPE). This role requires a detail-oriented individual with excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently. Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive physical inventories and cycle counts.
- Investigate and resolve all inventory discrepancies in a timely manner.
- Manage and maintain accurate inventory records using WMS.
- Develop and implement inventory control procedures to enhance accuracy and efficiency.
- Monitor stock levels and forecast potential shortages or overstock situations.
- Ensure proper organization and storage of inventory within the warehouse.
- Collaborate with shipping and receiving teams to track inventory flow.
- Adhere to all safety regulations, including appropriate lifting and PPE usage.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management or a related field is preferred.
- Proven experience in inventory control, warehouse management, or a similar role.
- Proficiency with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and inventory software.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and data interpretation skills.
- Excellent organizational and communication abilities.
- Ability to lift up to 35 lbs.
- Comprehensive knowledge of logistics and warehouse operations.
- Commitment to maintaining a safe workplace and adhering to PPE requirements.
