We are seeking experienced Forklift Operators to join our busy logistics hub in Miami, Florida. As a Forklift Operator, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient operation of forklifts to move, locate, relocate, stack, and count merchandise. Your duties will include loading and unloading trucks, transporting materials throughout the warehouse, and ensuring that inventory is stored accurately and safely. This role demands precision, vigilance, and a deep commitment to Safety protocols, including the proper use of PPE. You will work as part of a dedicated team, contributing to the smooth flow of goods within our supply chain. Responsibilities:
- Operate forklifts safely and efficiently to move, stack, and retrieve materials.
- Load and unload trailers, ensuring proper placement and securing of goods.
- Transport inventory to and from designated storage areas.
- Conduct daily inspections of forklift equipment and report any maintenance needs.
- Assist with inventory counts and cycle counting as needed.
- Adhere strictly to all company Safety policies and procedures, including the mandatory use of PPE.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Collaborate with warehouse supervisors and team members to ensure operational efficiency.
- Perform tasks that may involve occasional manual Lifting of up to 40 lbs.
- Understand and apply principles of warehouse logistics and material handling.
- Prioritize Safety in all operations and promote a Safety-conscious culture.
Qualifications:
- Valid forklift operator certification and proven experience.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience operating forklifts in a warehouse or logistics environment.
- Strong understanding of warehouse Safety best practices.
- Ability to perform occasional manual Lifting.
- Familiarity with required PPE and its correct usage.
- Excellent hand-eye coordination and spatial reasoning.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Basic knowledge of logistics and inventory management.
- Commitment to maintaining a Safe and productive work environment.
