Job Summary:
We are looking for a detail-oriented Inventory Control Specialist to join our dynamic team in Jacksonville, Florida. In this role, you will be instrumental in maintaining the accuracy and integrity of our warehouse inventory. Your responsibilities will include conducting regular cycle counts, investigating inventory discrepancies, managing stock rotation, and implementing process improvements to enhance inventory accuracy. This position requires a sharp analytical mind, excellent organizational skills, and a deep understanding of warehouse logistics and inventory management systems. You will work closely with the operations and receiving teams to ensure optimal stock levels and minimize losses. A strong commitment to Safety and adherence to company policies, including the use of PPE, are essential. Responsibilities:
  • Conduct regular cycle counts and physical inventories.
  • Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies promptly.
  • Implement and manage stock rotation procedures (e.g., FEFO, FIFO).
  • Analyze inventory data to identify trends and recommend improvements.
  • Maintain accurate inventory records within the Warehouse Management System (WMS).
  • Collaborate with the receiving and shipping departments to ensure smooth inventory flow.
  • Identify and report damaged or obsolete stock.
  • Ensure adherence to all Safety protocols and proper use of PPE.
  • Perform tasks that involve occasional Lifting of up to 30 lbs.
  • Contribute to optimizing logistics operations through effective inventory control.
  • Uphold high standards of Safety and accuracy.

Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent; Associate's or Bachelor's degree in a related field is a plus.
  • Proven experience in inventory control or warehouse management.
  • Proficiency with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and inventory software.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Familiarity with warehouse Safety practices and the importance of PPE.
  • Ability to perform occasional moderate Lifting.
  • Good organizational and communication skills.
  • Understanding of logistics and supply chain principles.
  • Commitment to maintaining a Safe and efficient inventory system.
