Join our dedicated team as an Order Picker in Milwaukee, Wisconsin! This role is integral to our supply chain and logistics operations, ensuring timely and accurate fulfillment of customer orders. You will be responsible for locating, retrieving, and preparing items from our warehouse stock for shipment. This position requires meticulous attention to detail and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. We are committed to providing a safe and supportive workplace, with a strong emphasis on adherence to all safety regulations and the proper use of PPE.
Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick customer orders according to pick lists or scanner instructions.
- Locate products within the warehouse using established navigation methods.
- Verify picked items against order details to ensure accuracy.
- Use warehouse equipment, such as pallet jacks and order pickers, safely and efficiently.
- Stage picked orders for packing and shipment.
- Assist with inventory control procedures, including cycle counts.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
- Follow all logistics and company safety policies, including the use of appropriate PPE.
- Report any stock discrepancies or equipment issues to supervisors immediately.
- Contribute to team goals and assist colleagues as needed.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a warehouse or order picking role is preferred.
- Ability to read and understand pick tickets and product labels.
- Proficiency with RF scanning devices.
- Physical ability to stand, walk, bend, and reach throughout the shift.
- Capable of lifting up to 30 lbs regularly.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in order fulfillment.
- Familiarity with warehouse safety practices.
- Strong work ethic and reliability.
