Responsibilities:
- Receive incoming shipments, verify contents against purchase orders, and inspect for damage.
- Stock and organize inventory in designated warehouse locations.
- Pick and fulfill orders accurately using pick lists or scanning technology.
- Pack products carefully and safely for shipment.
- Load and unload trucks and containers.
- Operate various warehouse equipment, such as forklifts and pallet jacks, after proper training.
- Conduct regular inventory checks and assist with cycle counts.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the warehouse facility.
- Adhere strictly to all safety regulations and wear required PPE at all times.
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to continuous improvement efforts within the logistics department.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a warehouse or distribution center environment is highly desirable.
- Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS).
- Ability to perform manual labor, including lifting items up to 50 lbs.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Understanding of logistics principles and warehouse operations.
- Commitment to safety and proper use of equipment.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Flexibility to work varying shifts as needed.
