Job Summary:
Join our fast-paced distribution center as a Distribution Center Associate in Sacramento, California. This multifaceted role involves various warehouse duties, including receiving, stocking, picking, packing, and shipping merchandise. Responsibilities:
  • Receive incoming shipments, verify contents against purchase orders, and inspect for damage.
  • Stock and organize inventory in designated warehouse locations.
  • Pick and fulfill orders accurately using pick lists or scanning technology.
  • Pack products carefully and safely for shipment.
  • Load and unload trucks and containers.
  • Operate various warehouse equipment, such as forklifts and pallet jacks, after proper training.
  • Conduct regular inventory checks and assist with cycle counts.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the warehouse facility.
  • Adhere strictly to all safety regulations and wear required PPE at all times.
  • Participate in team meetings and contribute to continuous improvement efforts within the logistics department.

Qualifications:
  • Previous experience in a warehouse or distribution center environment is highly desirable.
  • Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS).
  • Ability to perform manual labor, including lifting items up to 50 lbs.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Understanding of logistics principles and warehouse operations.
  • Commitment to safety and proper use of equipment.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Flexibility to work varying shifts as needed.
